The aim of the study is to investigate the age and gender features of the cognitive and motivational sphere in giftedadolescents. Participants were 100 students attending grades V to VII and 76 students attending grades IX to XI; the tests ofintelligence and creativity, the Nuttin motivational induction method, etc. were used. Significant differences were found betweenthe gifted younger and older adolescents in the variables of cognitive abilities, motivational objects and temporal perspectives,as well as the gender features of these variables.
